Kamianna is a charming village located just 18 km from Krynica-Zdrój. The surrounding area is well known for its scenic cycling routes, mountain hiking trails, and healing mineral waters rich in valuable natural elements. The nearby fir and beech forests are full of natural treasures and offer beautiful landscapes in every season.
In spring, visitors can enjoy observing wildlife as nature comes back to life, while autumn brings an abundance of forest fruits such as blackberries, blueberries and mushrooms.
Within walking distance from the house you will find:
• a historic wooden church (formerly an Orthodox church),
• the World Apitherapy Centre, dedicated to healing with honey and bee products,
• a small ski slope ideal for children and beginner skiers.
Kamianna is also a well-known beekeeping centre famous for its high-quality honey and other bee products. The village is home to the Beekeeping House and the Beekeeping Museum, both of which are well worth a visit.
The surrounding area is perfect for relaxation, walks and cycling trips. In winter, it is also a great place to learn skiing or snowboarding on the nearby slope.
We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, a rain jacket and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little muddy while walking in the forest or exploring the surrounding nature .
It is also a good idea to bring a swimsuit for the hot tub and slippers or flip-flops so you can feel comfortable and relaxed inside the house.
